About Us

My name is Paul Kralovic, and I'm an economist, writer and the Founder of Frontline Economics. I'm an experienced energy economist with nearly 25 years experience in various research and analyst settings, including the former Research Director of the Canadian Energy Research Institute. I hold a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Calgary and am also a trained copywriter. Storytelling is my passion.

I've been involved with over 40 projects across various energy genres and understand every element of executing a successful project, from idea to testing the hypothesis to telling the story.

Frontline Economics has researched and authoured 4 stand-alone studies, as well as contributed to another 20 projects. We've also authoured numerous articles and summary reports, including for CERI's monthly Commodity Report - Natural Gas and the geoLOGIC system's Daily Oil Bulletin. We've even written an op-ed piece for an ex-Prime Minister of a West African country.
